How to change oil filter and engine oil on Peugeot 107
Tools and Supplies Needed:
- Fender protection cover
- Jack or inspection pit
- Waste oil container (minimum 4L capacity)
- Wire brush
- Drive socket #14
- Ratchet wrench
- 67-14F socket
- Torque wrench
- All-purpose cleaning spray
- Funnel
- New oil filter with rubber seal
- Fresh engine oil (recommended type by manufacturer)

Instructions:
- Open the Hood: Start by ensuring your vehicle is on a flat surface.
- Protect Your Car: Lay down a fender protection cover to avoid any damage to your car’s paint and plastic components.
- Access the Oil Components: Unscrew the oil filler plug.
- Elevate Your Car: Either lift your car using a jack or position it over an inspection pit.Tip: Ensure the car is level; if it’s tilted, the drain plug should be the lowest point.

- Install New Drainage Plug: Insert the new drainage plug and tighten it using the drive socket #14. Secure it with a torque wrench to 27 Nm.
- Lower the Car: Carefully bring your car down from the jack or out of the inspection pit.
- Refill Engine Oil: Remove the oil filler cap and place a funnel over the opening. Pour in the new oil.
Tip: You’ll need about 3.6L of oil. Always use the oil type recommended by the manufacturer.
- Check Oil Level: After filling, use the dipstick to check the oil level. It should be between the Min and Max marks. Add more if needed.
- Secure Everything: Replace and tighten the oil filler cap.
